In totally unrelated news: My plans of studying in Norway are going along smoothly. Too much so? I hope not!

God, that is hard. I’m just so un-special... Okay, let’s see what I can come up with...

1) I like the Grand Prix (Eurovision Song Contest) ridiculously much. I watch it almost religiously. It’s one of the high points of my years. Every year a friend (and sometimes her family), my mother and I get together and make lots of food from the host country. It’s quite a happening. Whenever I tell people how much I like it, they tell me how lame I am. :/

2) I almost exclusively wear skirts. I tried wearing trousers sometime last year, but I just didn’t like it. The only exceptions are walking around home with old man style pyjama trousers.

3) Sometimes I just get really excited about words. When I like how they sound, I try to subtly work them into my coversations. Today it was "jetzt"... it wasn’t very hard. ;)

4) I really like to watch "stupid" TV shows. Sometimes on a meta level, but sometimes just out of fun. For example I don’t think I ever missed a show of "Schlag den Raab". It just reminds me of old times, when I was little and watched the 100.000 Mark Show.

5) I was once really good at table tennis because I went to an after school care thing and we had a phase when we’d play nothing else. :) Sadly, I lost all skill. Dammit.

6) Another "uncool" thing I really like are anthems. Some are just so pretty! Since I never liked the German one all that much I was so happy when I found out Hessen had its own and it was pretty and about nature! Later I discovered some Nazi band had also recorded a version of it, and ever since I feel slightly guilty for liking it which I suppose I shouldn’t...

7) Often Sometimes I think in English. Which I suppose is weird. But I only ever notice it when my brain stumble about thoughts I don’t know the vocabulary to.

Okay, first, let me brag... xD I recently got 15 points on my German exam! Isn't that brilliant?! xD And I really didn't want to write about my grades anymore, but my friends don't appreciate it and tell me getting 15 points in my German class is like winning at chess against a four-year old. Nice friends, I got there, eh?

Hey there! :D Here, have a music meme, it‘s been a long time since I did one. :)

And it‘s a really cool one, too, well, or at least I like it a lot, so I think it‘d be very awesome if you would all do it, too. (I know isegrim_chan already did it, but hasn‘t posted it yet, so do it now, you! ;D)

The instructions are something like filling it out (duh!) and uploading the songs. Which I didn‘t, was too lazy (hey, I included youtube links!). But if you want to I can upload a certain song for you. :)

Okay, there we go! (I only noticed afterwards that there are a lot of German songs in here... about half...)

“Puh, das war harter Stoff!”, eh? ;D (Took me hours to fill out, it's always so hard to decide!)

So I said I was going to complain about my "Praktikum" (and I still don't know the English word but I guess it could be work experience) and now I will...

But you know it isn't really that bad, mostly just quite boring. I have to do the same things a lot... one day, I had to call what felt like every German city there is. Every! To get some press lists, and having to say the same thing over and over again is so... blah! (I liked calling in Bavaria, they said "Grüß Gott"! And the guy from Kiel was very nice. :)) Most of the other time I had to copy adresses and phone numbers and stuff from one index into another index. Something like two days straight... I guess I'm just not cut out for repetitive work. -_- And today I had to compare numbers from one chart to numbers (I had to add) on another chart. And the numbers were TINY! I felt so tired when I was finished.
And no one talks to me there. ): During my lunch break I read "Buddenbrooks" (which I have to read for my German class) and I'm already on page 150...
All in all this "Praktikum" still is a lot better than the last one I did... I'll never work at a hotel!

Letzten Freitag war ich bei einer Bunkerbesichtigung und, mein Gott, war das grsuelig. ._. Naja, ich bin mir auch nicht sicher, ob "gruselig" das richtige Wort ist. Vielleicht trifft es "bedrückend" besser. Jedenfalls hab ich dank der Besichtigung das ganze Wochenende daran denken müssen, was für ein schlechter Ort die Welt ist.

Und dann hatte ich heute in Geschichte Hitler-Putsch und Kapp-Putsch. Hat mich nicht fröhlicher gemacht. :(

Außerdem habe ich heute beschlossen, mal zu promovieren. :D Das wird doch hinzukriegen sein, oder? xD Fr. Dr. Götz. Ich finde, das klingt gut! :D
