So my last entry was clearly a lie

I said I would post more often and I did not.

But I still don't have anything noteworthy to say. I'm spending my time ignoring any responsibilities, reading too little of my uni readings and watching TV... I have been all caught up on Game of Thrones for a while now which makes it annoying that I have to wait for new episodes. Then last week I watched all of Life on Mars (RIP all my feelings because of the ending), so now I need a new show to watch. If anyone has any suggestions, please, go ahead!

My computer has been super slow and annoying for the last few days. I'm thinking about formatting the harddrive and reinstalling Windows, but I'm so scared I won't manage to make the correct settings for my Internet again, so I will be Internet less at home... or last time I reinstalled it, it was all weird and almost didn't work, and what will I do if my Compuer simply refuses to work after that?? Haha... so maybe I better wait until I can't live with its slowness anymore...

In other news I applied for internships here in Tromsø. I wrote 13 applications and so far have only received on rejection and nothing else. >:( This is not how I want these things to go... Oh well, maybe tomorrow I'll write some applications for Germany. :/


PS: I do not enjoy the new look of the lj cut, are they being serious with that? Looks shit to be honest.

good on you for applying to THIRTEEN internships! seriously, that is dedication imo b/c applications are just the worst. when i was applying to jobs i had to force myself to do it b/c i hated it so, so, so much. and i seriously hate that people don't get back to you. you take all this time to write out a nice app and they can't even say 'thanks but no thanks'?! r00d imo!!! any place would be LUCKY to have you! <3

btw what is your "field" or major or w/e? i feel like i should know this, oop.

lol, well, tbh a lot of c/p'ing was involved... but thank you! I just hope they say at least no because I hate being uncertain. :( Best would ofc if they said yes, but I really don't have any hope for that. :/

I'm studying Northern European studies, so that's literature/languages/history/culture etc... I do Norwegian and Finnish and focus on literature/medieval literature.

Maybe take your computer to a repair shop? Or even the store where you got it, someone there may have an idea about what's wrong. :)

lol ia, very productive! idk about genres, but I think I like shorter seasons more, idk if I want to put up with any filler (unless the show is really good). I know this is very specific... :P

I would normally just take my Computer to where I bought it, but that's in another country rn. ;__; And my Computer is in German, and... that might be a problem. It might probably also not be, so I might just do it, but I'm sure it would cost something, and so maybe I should try on my own first. :/

Thank you! Not to optimistic, but who knows! :) It's probably still better to write some more applications. I really have to get an internship this summer, so fingers crossed!

Funny you say that about your computer. A friends computer has been running painfully slow for a few days, and I just got hit with a really bad virus that was issued at the end of March. Seems a lot of people are having problems at the moment :\

Well, I ran my anti virus programme yesterday and everything seems to be in order. Also it's back to its old speed today which might not be as speedy as when I got it, but it's workable. I'd rather wait with reformatting it until I'm back in Germany in case something goes wrong!

I have downloaded a season of Community, but I'm not much in a mood for things that are pure comedy recently, I don't know why. Maybe if they're absolutely brilliant... I might just give it a try. ;)

And good luck with your applications! (The deadlines for most public services' reception of internship applications are often in March and even earlier, so a tip for next year is to start searching already in January. There is so many applicants, there's even a bunch of young swedes that earn extra school money here over summer.)
