Okay, so there we go, the second part of my Iceland post! Granted, it took a day longer than I said, but that’s just because... I was so busy playing Wurzelimperium! I’m sorry and somewhat ashamed but the game is just so... senseless. And cute. Argh.
Part 1 is here.
Fjallsárlón

A glacial lake.
Jökulsárlón

Another (more famous) glacial lake.

Part of a little iceberg. :)
Höfn í Hornafirði

Bow before my magnificent scientist beard!
Sunnuhlið

The front garden of Petra`s private stone collection! XD
Egilsstaðir

Selbstredend... ;D

Iceland, land of long ways.
Hallormstaður

Hallormsstaðarskógur, Iceland’s biggest (and only?) forest! (Both pictures.)

At our gistiheimili (guesthouse, but it sounds like the cutest thing ever in Icelandic!) I made two cat friends! That’s one of them! :D

The keyring pendant was a real bone! Maybe because the gistiheimili was named "Graí Hundurinn”? (Grey hound, I guess?)
Dettifoss

The name means "roaring waterfall". It fits.
Hverarönd

You just can’t imagine how bad it all smelled...

And it was loud, too!
Krafla region near Leirhnjúkur

It’s a volcanic area and you just can walk around there while there’s still steam and stuff. It’s kinda scary...

Víti.
Jarðböð near Mývatn

A nature bath that I found even better than the Blue Lagoon! It was emptier and the atmosphere was better. The light was just so pretty at 10 pm. :)
near Laugar

Midnight sun!
Húsavík

Whale watching! :D
Akureyri

There was some kind of celebration when we were there. Among other things they hosted races up the stairs leading to the church! :D

The Iceland pullover I bought! It was so expensive and now I’m pretty poor... but it was worth it!

I’ll admit it, I have never before seen such a big cruise ship!

Akureyri is just so cute! I like it more than Reykjavík.
Gauksmýri

I would have liked to steal that dog, it was so cute! ;_;
Grábrók

While hiking on the Grábrók caldera we saw this one.
Deildartunguhver

Very bautiful (and hot!) hot water springs...

...and a veeeery long pipeline.
Reykholt

Snorralaug, the bath of the famous Snorri Sturluson, poet and politician in medieval Iceland.
Hraunfossar

Maybe the prettiest waterfall I have seen in Iceland.
Barnafoss

Waterfall with a very sad history! "Barnafoss" means "children’s waterfall", named like that because two children drowned there. :(
A little more Reykjavík

Hallgrímskirkja from inside with an awesome baptistery.
Bláa lonið, the Blue Lagoon

Well, that’s the part outside from where you can swim. We were also inside but it was too warm and sunny to relax properly (and also too full, but oh well...)
”On the road”

I would LOVE to have this thing underneath the licence plate!
... Okay, so I think that’s it?
Wow, I think this one’s even longer than Part 1...
