I know, I know, I said I was gonna write this much sooner, but what can I say? I didn't really have time, my PC is terribly slow and also, I was lazy. But now here it comes. My Austria report! ♥
I was really looking forward to it, and expected Austria to be a nice place, but in the end it was a lot nicer then I had expected. (The sunny weather might also have played a role... xD)
And Bavaria... was... okay. I just can't bring myself to really like it, but when I'm honest, I have to say, it was quite nice.
Our first stop was Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Of course we visited the Zugspitze.

The weather was awesome! The air was very clear so you could look all the way down into the valleys. A lovely and fantastic view. That's Garmisch (there, somewhere...). :)
And that's me being a dork:

There was still a lot of snow, but it was very warm, always 20°C+. Only later we realized how stupid photos with people in t-shirts standing besides heaps of snow look. xD

Our second stop was Innsbruck. I love it, it's a very pretty city! :)
We went to see the ski jump and on the way we had a lovely view on the city:

The jump itself was pretty cool, too. That's my masmoking being fascinated:

There right on top of it is a café in which I ate Marillentopenstrudel which is very delicious. I wanna eat moooooore. xD
And that's the view looking down. Scary is what I'd call it.

On our way to Salzburg we made a stop in Bischofshofen to eat and also to talk a little walk in the woods where we found this pretty stream. (By the way, I wanna apologize that I'm on an aweful lot of photos, it just happened!)

My ma, some fountain and the Hohensalzburg. Where we went all the way up (and it's a hard and long way!) just to see that it was closed!

Salzburg is very pretty, too. I like it. :) Also the people there seemed quite dressed up so I felt like dork.
Our naxt and last stop was Vienna! :D I think it's very pretty, but it would be even prettier if there were less cars. It's terribly loud.
But there is Schloss Schönbrunn, too, so I guess it's an okay city. ;)

Obligatory feet photo! (On the Gloriette)

DUCKS!

And that's the Kronprinzengarten. I can just imagine how pretty it is in summer. :) (There are alcove walks around it!)

Being in Vienna we also visited the Zentralfriedhof (central cemetery). They have a bus stop right on it. I think it's vaguely morbid but also: AWESOME!

Famous graves (or at least memorials):

(Beethoven, Mozart and Schubert)
I loved the KunstHausWien designed by Hundertwasser with its Hundertwasser exhibtion, mainly because I love Hundertwasser (even though he kind of was a freak xD). I really like the way he used colour in his paintings. :)

We went to see the Hundertwasserhaus, too.

Of course you can't miss the Prater with its Ferris wheel!

Fantastic view.

It looks good from the ground, too. :)

Eating Sachertorte! I didn't really find it that delicious.I can make a better chocolate cake. But maybe that's one of the must-dos in Vienna.

Stephansdom, also pretty awe-inducing:

And of course there are carriages. This guy looks pretty... special. xD

Whew, that's it. I didn't really write as much as I wanted here, but please excuse me, I'm so very tired and my computer is so very annoying. Going to bed now and dreaming about my next holiday in Iceland.
Góða nótt everybody.
