Few days ago I said I wanted to post a few photos from around where I live and here they are. :)
As you should (or could) know, I’m living in Kassel and now some information that could be new:
The quarter where I live is called "Vorderer Westen" and it really doesn’t get enough appreciation, just because it wasn’t a village before it belonged to Kassel but was built to create living space for people moving to the city in the 19th century (most people working for the railway). D: Anyway, when it was built it was called "Hohenzollern-Viertel" and I’m just mentioning it 'cause I love the name. xD
Anyway, let’s have pics. :)

This is were I live! ... no, to be honest, it sadly isn’t. :( But oh, how I’d love to, just look how pretty it looks, like it is from a fairy tale!

This is were I lived until I was 10. Really. I think it looks nice from the outside, but the flat seriously sucked and it was always cold!

There you can see some railway tracks (looking down from where I lived when I was younger). At night the trains were so noisy that a lot of people complained that they couldn’t sleep, but I never heard them.

This is the street were I live! Pretty, eh? xD Oh, and in the upper right corner, the beige house, that’s were our flat is. (So ugly...)
The following photos were taken in the park "Tannenwäldchen", I always played there with Ines when we were younger, now we only chill. |D

(Haha, I tried taking pretty photos facing the sun... xD)

A photo of the marshalling yard which was (supposedly) noisy at nights (taken from the "Tannenwäldchen").

Looking down on „Rothenditmold” and a quarter whose name I don't know.

The "Striederweg".

Looking at "Wehlheiden" in the distance and maybe even at "Süsterfeld" or "Niederzwehren".

Walk connecting "Kölnische Straße" with "Breitscheidstraße".

Pedestrian-friendly sidewalk... xD Oh, I love autumn. <3

Radio towers in the "Tannenwäldchen". Since they were built only boys are born in our neighbourhood. Coincidence?
Let me present you: crappy graffities which are very funny because... it just doesn’t fit with the people living here. There has to be a rebel around! xD

View looking down from the railway bridge.

Since I can remember I always wondered if there’s really someone living there. (There are plants!)

There were doing something with telephone wires today...

Me! *laughs*

My old kindergarten! :D (Or at least one wing of it.)

Taken in our street; it was rainy today. :)
Oh and if you should ask yourself why there are so many pictures looking down on the city, it’s because I live in one of the highest points in the middle of Kassel.
Phew, those were a lot of photos. I took some of them last week and some today. :D I love taking pictures, I just wish I had a better camera. :/
