Dec. 30th, 2007 08:50 pmMeme I ganked from
night_songs_93:
Ehehe, well...
And another meme I found somewhere but I frogot where. ^^;
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don’t you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
German book:
"(...) Unsere Kraft nimmt zu mit dem Mond, aber sie nimmt auch mit ihm ab. In Neumondnächten bin ich oft zu müde, um meine Höhle zu verlassen."
"Nun, ich hoffe, das wird kein Problem auf eurer Reise", sagte der Professor und rührte in seinem Topf.
Und welches ist es?? XD
English book:
In a way it was sort of depressing, too, because you kept wondering what the hell would happen to all of them. When they got out of school and college, I mean. You figured that most of them would probably marry dopey guys.
And do you know which book it is? I bet you know it!! XD
Also, I wanted to ask if someone can rec some fanfics to me. I don't really care which fandom as long as I know it, and the story is excellent. ^-^ I need something to read. Pleeeaaaaase??
Another question: Do you think I should make one of those sticky posts and list all my fanfics there? Or is something like that just silly? Hmm...

![]() Your mind is definitely a little dirty. You're naughty, but not trashy. You don't shy away from a dirty joke, and you're clearly not a prude. |

Date: 2008-01-08 10:19 am (UTC)Network TV are free local channels. They can get annoying and repetitive and just plain suck.
Whereas cable isn't free and can get annoying and repetitive, but at least a good majority of the time it doesn't suck LOL

Date: 2008-01-21 03:18 pm (UTC)No, I always figured... not! XD It's just... we always call it "Dorf mit Straßenbahn" (something like "village with tram") and... I guess there isn't a lot happening here. There are a lot of bigger cities! XD Like Cologne, Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich and well, pretty much all the Ruhrgebie. ^^ But hey, I like the shops here. :)

Date: 2008-01-21 03:54 pm (UTC)i couldn't live in a 'village' that big! i thought the town i grew up in was too big - 40,000 people - and couldn't wait to get out! still can't imagine 200,000 not being a lot lol

Date: 2008-01-21 06:56 pm (UTC)Err, and I can't imagine living somewhere smaller... without any shops, without the big stores, without cinemas, without... you know, that kinda stuff. I wish I could live in a bigger city. Like Cologne. Or Berlin. Or Düsseldorf! I love Düsseldorf! :) There are lots of concerts! XD

Date: 2008-01-22 10:13 am (UTC)but where i grew up - the 40,000 - had tons of shops and big stores and several cinemas... car dealerships (glen burnie is like the car dealership capitol of maryland lol)

Date: 2008-01-23 07:15 pm (UTC)Well, sounds nice. Except for all the cars... XD And somehow I have the impression that smaller cities somehow have a "bigger" flair in America. If you know what I mean... ^^;
