Feueralarm kann ich jedem nur empfehlen! XD

Heute in Geschi dachte ich echt, ich krepier vor Langeweile! Naja, hab immer schon ganze 1 1/4 Stunden durchgehalten, aber es wurde einfach immer langweiliger! :( Und dann... ging der Feueralarm los!! Boah, es war ewig keine Feuerübung mehr, aber wie ich sie liebe! <3 Obwohl manmir gesagt hat, dass ich im Ernstfall verbrannt wäre... aber ich kann meine Tasche ja nich' zurücklassen! Außerdem, wer beeilt sich da denn bitte wirklich?? Alle packen einfach ihre Sachen ein und gehen, so sieht's doch aus! XD



Komisches Bild, oder? XD Naja, wenn mir wirklich, wirklich lamgweilig is' kommt eben so was raus... ôo Da verlässt mich einfach all mein "Talent"! XD

I took it in High School and some college and I remember very little. VERY little :(
And it was my favorite subject, I actually did better in it than most of my classes :)

Oh, cool! :D Someday you have to write something in German for me, a comment or I don't know! Please, please??? It's just you rarely find people that aren't Germans, that speak German on the Internet! But how could that have been your favorite subject? I always thought actually learning it had to be quite difficult... all this declension and conjugation. It'd piss me off, I think...

And yes, it was my favorite. I actually found it easy. Would you believe it's easier than Spanish? I took four years of Spanish and can't understand a word XD

Rammstein is really strange... I mean, they're known in every country, but in Germany, they're not so famous as you'd think. And... I just can't begin too like them, I dunno, it's just, some of their lyrics sound so nazi-like, maybe they're not, but they sure somettimes sound like it. ^^;

Yes, I think I could believe it. ^^ I took French for about 3 or 4 years, and well, now it's nearly gone. Phewwww... All I can say are things like "Je suis un perroquet."

Yea, they are. I like their sound - the industrial heavy metal. As far as their lyrics, if they sing them slow enough I can catch some things - Du Hast (You Hate) goes something like "Will you unto death does sever, be upright to her forever? Never!" That's the most I catch anyway.
And Mein Herz Brent (My Heart Burns) seems odd; "Listen children I am the voice under your bed(?)..." Am I right? If so, maybe I remember more than I think :D

I took French for about a year. I did ok. And I think you just said you are a parrot ;)

Wheeeee! XD I'm glad when German music is spread around the world (even if it's Rammstein! XD)!

"Du hast" actually means "You have" ("You hate" is "Du hasst", with double s, ewww, confusing!), and I think it continues like "Du hast mich nie gefragt = You've never asked me." But you're right about the other part! :)
And in Mein Herz brennt (with double n! XD) they sing something like "Children, be aware, I'm the voice from your pillow.", ... but what you said would make more sense I guess! XD

God, sorry, I sound like a teacher! :D

Yes, I said that! I like parrots! XD When we were in seventh grade, one of my friend wrote a song that said:

"Je suis un perroquet
Avec une porte-monnaie
Je vais au marché
J'apporte une BD."

I still think that kind of screwed up my French! XD

Geez, I even remember some French too? But, I think as far as I can get with the song is "Avec une..." means "With a..."? But I'm not sure of "porte-monnaie" or the rest ^^;

Okay, so I'll continue to do so! XD I really think it's kinda hard to get a chance to practice German. ^^ English is easier 'cause you have to know it when you're on the Internet, reading fanfics and such! ^^ And for understanding songs. And watching American shows in English! XD There's so much English EVERYWHERE! XD

The song in English is "I'm a parrot with a wallet, I visit the market, I bring a comic with me." I love it! XD

It is hard. Like I said, the only practice I get is listening to my Rammstein. I do have somgs from other German bands, I just don't know the songs/band names.
Around here, your best bet is to know Spanish with all the immagrants coming over from Mexico. I think well over half our population in this state is hispanic ^^

Oh, I could tell you tons of great German bands! Really! And there are so many different styles, you would for sure find something you like! :) Recently German music became quite popular in Germany, so there's anything, rock, pop, punk, rap, hiphop and so on! XD Just ask me, I'm a German music library, kind of!
I would love to learn spanish, but it isn't a subject in my school, and I don't have the time to visit the evening classes... I already had to drop Japanese... :(

I'm always open to new bands no matter where they are from! I'd love to hear some new German rock and punk :D

I had a hard time with Spanish, I don't know why. And now it bugs me because it is the second most spoken language in our counrty now! Go figure lol

Yeah for German music! XD

I can totally recommend "Die Ärzte", they're a punk/rock band and really famous here, both singers (Bela B. and Farin Urlaub) have solo projects going on, which are great as well! XD "Die Toten Hosen" are cool as well, similar style of music, but a little more rock than punk I guess. ^^ And famous as well! XD I love nearly every song, but what you really should listen to is:

"Das Schlaflied" by Die Ärzte (it's quite scary, and sale was forbidden some time ago, but it's really cool! XD)
"Schrei nach Liebe" also by Die Ärzte (it's just... I like it, it's about a nazi, but cleary against national socialism)
"Hier kommt Alex" by Die Toten Hosen
"Sascha, ein aufrechter Deutscher" by Die Toten Hosen (also about national sozialism, also against it of course!)

Also okay are "Revolverheld", they're quite new. "Mit dir chillen" and "Freunde bleiben" are their best songs I think. :)

And even if it's more like pop I can highly recommend "Wir sind Helden", the lyrics are confusing most of the time, but the have a very special touch! "Von hier an blind" is great! :)

Oh, and btw Japanese is a lot easier than you'd think, only the writing is difficult (who needs this much letters?)
