Back from Amsterdam!

So, yeah, I'm back. Amsterdam was awesome, very awesome. But I got my wallet stolen, that wasn't very awesome...

Anyway, I'm too tired and too busy with catching up stuff online to write a report and I don't have many pretty photos either, so just let me give you a few impressions.


So generally and officially, Amsterdam was pretty much like this:

So all in all? I love Amsterdam! :D

Oh, I miss it. D: I'll be very poor for all of this month 'cause a new driver's license costs 70€... Argh. >_<

Lol, that's why I gave up on driving XD Too expensive (and I'm a hermit anyway, so it was folly to pay for fuel, tax, insurance blah blah blah just to be able to go out twice a week). €70 is a lot of money though! More than it is here!

That was a very wise decision if you ask me... -_- And yes it is! D: And I even have to wait for MONTHS for the stupid card, if I wanted it soon, I'd have to pay 110€. Sometimes I just hate this country. D:

Maybe it's not such a bad thing. If it costs so much, it means that people who are really determined to drive will. Here, it's so easy to get a driving license and it's not good at all. It means there's a lot of headcases out there. Also, I was in a car accident a few years ago so I get really nervous driving or just being a passenger sometimes XD Now cycling... There's the transport of the people!

Well, I don't know, they're still millions of people who can't drive that drive around all day... It's just. Argh. I don't know.
Cycling? I don't know... After I crashed our car I had to get everywhere with my bike and fell off of it a lot. Now I got a lot of scars on my right leg and am slightly afraid to use my bike on normal roads. xD

I'm so jealous! D: Well, a new ID only costs 13€ and that's the more important thing anyway, maybe I'll just wait with the driver's license... <_<

I suppose if you have to go on normal roads it's different. I live in the countryside so I tend to take the farm tracks into town :) There's no way I would try and tackle the real roads XD The accident I was in completely wrecked the (when I say 'the car', I mean 'my car', though I wasn't driving it at the time), and we were hit by someone with no insurance so it's too much hassle to go through all of it again ¬_¬

I think we have to pay for a replacement... I've not lost my original one so I don't know for sure XD I hate having to constantly take ID with me everywhere I go. Some people just take the piss with asking for proof of identity.

Well, I didn't lose my original one either... <_< Ah, well... xD Oh, and as for asking for the ID. With my wallet stolen I went to the police station and said something like "My wallet was stolen with EVERYTHING in it! D:" First question the policeman asks: "Do you have your ID with you?" Then I got really irritated... xD
